Richard’s Turn

May 24, 2020May 25, 2020 Retirement Reflections

We decided to have our Decision Bowl Dinner early this week as Creighton returns to England in three days (insert Mother pouting here). The beauty of this game is that cooking experience is W A A A Y less important than the willingness to give it a go. Richard has this spirit (and creativity) in… Continue reading Richard’s Turn

Destination: India

May 21, 2020May 21, 2020 Retirement Reflections

Back by popular demand (at least in my own mind), I bring you Week 2 of our Decision Bowl Dinners. If you joined in last week, you'll remember that our destination was set for India with our son, Creighton, as the chef (two weeks running). Prior to retirement, I lived and worked in Beijing, China for fourteen years (Middle School Principal/Deputy Director at The Western Academy of Beijing). Leaving international life behind, my husband and I retired to Vancouver Island in June 2015. To document this transition and our new adventures, ‘Retirement Reflections’ was born. Retired for nine years now (and still loving every minute of it), this blog continues to evolve with time.I hope that you enjoy these reflections and will be willing to share your own.
I look forward to interacting!
